Where We Fly

West Sydney Slopers primary flying site is William Howe Reserve at Mt Annan.

Suitable Flying Conditions

Flying is suitable for all wind directions except North West.

Directions

Turn off Mt Annan Drive from the round about take the first right and follow the new road around to the front of the NE slope  As indicated by the red line.




This first slope can be flown in winds ranging from NE to SSW.

Once reaching the top continue up the track until you reach the summit and then continue down the other side.

You will see two areas. One on the left for SW/W to SSW winds and another to the right for SW/W - NW winds.

From Welling Drive (travelling West bound) turn left at the roundabout into Mt Annan Drive. Follow Mt Annan Drive until reaching the new land development.

Continue straight until the first roundabout at the top of the hill.

Turn right at the roundabout. Continue ahead and turn left at the first road. Follow this road until it curves back and you can see a large dirt mound and an access track on your left.

If possible you can drive into the access track otherwise park on the road and walk the access track.

On the access track you will see a water tank on your right. Continue to follow the track which turns left and stop at the fence near the trees (approx 50m).

If you have driven then park close to the fence near the trees.

Now go over the fence and follow the walking trail up the hill.

This first slope can be flown in winds ranging from NE to SSW.

Once reaching the top continue up the track until you reach the summit and then coninue down the other side.

You will see two areas. One on the left for SW/W to SSW winds and another to the right for SW/W - NW winds.
